I'M Phillip Penrod

I am an aspiring photographer based out of the Las Vegas, NV area. I enjoy seeing all the beauty around us and trying to capture the "off the beaten path" sights. The southwest has so much under appreciated beauty and life and I am glad I have the chance to share it with all of you.

I am an Air Force Veteran that has been in the Las Vegas Are for nearly 20 years. I have been photographing things most of my life, but only recently began to focus on photographing with a purpose.

My art business has been designated as a "Trusted Art Seller" with The Art Storefronts Organization, which means you can shop with confidence, and know that I stand behind the quality and value of my products.

Inspiration

The southwest and all it has to offer. I am especially inspired by sweeping landscapes under a flawless night sky. And of course my family pushes me to forever improve and expand my horizons.

Techniques

I use Canon cameras and vary from massive wide angle landscapes to long telephoto to capture the animals that are a little skittish.

career highlights

I have won Visitors Choice in photography at City Lights Art Gallery in Henderson NV. I have photography hanging in local area hotel lobbies and always looking to expand.
